- Suspended ceiling and drywall partitions : Drywall Partition for Plasterboard. The Drywall partition is a lightweight non-load bearing wall that has wide acceptance for its many qualities and utilities. It consists of a steel framing system made of floor and ceiling metal runners and studs fabricated from hot dip galvanised steel sheeting and gypsum wallboards attached to the framing system in single or double layers with self drilling screws. The studs and runners are available in difference sizes considering the overall wall thickness. Walls built in accordance to the drywall systems have a solid firm surface. It is suitable for most types of decorative treatments and for repeated changes in decoration during the lifespan of the building.The joints between adjacent gypsum boards are reinforced and concealed with the Tape Joint System, leaving the wall surface virtually free of joints or of fastener head marks.
